Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most famous roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio, she dropped out of high school in order to relocate to Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. They were struggling to make ends meet at the time she landed her first role in acting in Rachel's Room's lead character. In 2002, she was awarded an Young Artist Award in 2002 due to her role in Murder on the streets of Greenwich of 15 year young Martha Moxley as a murder victim, Grace went on to take home the award. Grace Rutherford was the character Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 and she shared a Screen Actors Guild Award (with the rest of the cast) with her. Grace was forced to quit the series to concentrate on her film career. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog back in 2005. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken in 2008) as Suburban Girl and the Jane Austen Book Club. The same character was played by Grace in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both in 2012). Grace returned to the Lost series for the last two episodes, playing Shannon. The year 2013 saw Grace appear in Californianation, the sixth season. She plays Faith as a groupie, and also an muse for the stars who captures the eye of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a part of the family and is the elder cousin of Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager she appeared in small roles in the films of her father and was co-starring with her sister in Donnie Darko, a famous cult film. Later, she was as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received nominations for the Golden Globe Award in both the drama Sherrybaby (2005) and the romance comedy Secretary (2002). The two films received acclaim from critics. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006) which brought her greater recognition, was a huge success for Gyllenhaal. After her successful performance as a mother who is not married in Crazy Heart (2009), she earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. In the following years, she was in comedies and dramas which included Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 Some of her other parts include acting as a Secret Service agent for the Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared singing in Frank 2014 and as a singer the role of a teacher in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she portrays the lead character. Gyllenhaal's first film as a director and writer came in 2021 when she wrote The Lost Daughter, a psychological thriller in which she won the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. In addition, she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
